Job Description

What will you do?

• This position is responsible for field service (customer site service and in-warranty unit repair) activities involving the installation, modification and repair of complex equipment and systems for single and three phase products. Particular focus is on service products.
• This position is also required to manage third‑party Service Vendors (CSPs) for the country and represent the company in day‑to‑day dealings with CSPs who will perform in‑warranty and out‑of‑warranty repairs on units.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• At least 2 to 4 years industry experience including a minimum of 12 months power experience with hands‑on work on 415 V AC 3‑phase and/or 800 V DC equipment
• Good understanding of testing, commissioning, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of products and equipment, including reporting and hand‑over certificates

• Analyze performance data and support escalation of product performance issues.
• Manage spare‑part inventory as required.
• Utilize sophisticated remote and predictive service tools to minimize customer downtime, compile reports, manage complaints and inform product performance investigations.

• Ensure territory spare parts inventories are maintained and used efficiently.

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (Pdm), corrective maintenance (CM), and troubleshooting and/or breakdown maintenance (BM).
• Facility equipment, proactively identifying and resolving recurring maintenance issues in the assigned area of activity.
