A logistics services company in Indonesia is seeking a QHSE specialist to develop and maintain quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE) management systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in occupational health & safety, significant experience in logistics, and expertise in auditing and compliance management. Develop and Enforce QHSE Systems: Implement and maintain robust Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) management systems aligned with industry standards and regulations.
Document Control and Training: Oversee document control procedures for operational documents and ensure comprehensive QHSE training for all staff.
Conduct and Manage Audits: Lead internal audits across all departments to identify and address potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate safety incidents, environmental concerns, and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
Compliance Management: Monitor operations to ensure adherence to all relevant QHSE regulations and proactively manage risks.
Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and environmental performance.
Customer Focus: Represent the company during external QHSE audits and inspections, demonstrating commitment to customer expectations.
Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate QHSE policies, procedures, and best practices to all personnel and collaborate with internal departments to achieve QHSE objectives.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans to ensure a coordinated and effective response to incidents.
Performance Measurement and Reporting: Monitor QHSE performance metrics, identify trends, and generate reports to inform management decisions.
Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
Have a min. 3 year of experience n a QHSE role within a logistics or industrial environment.
Skilled in computer literation and Microsoft (Excel, Power Point, Word).
Proficient in English · Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining QHSE management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Proven track record of conducting successful internal audits and leading corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
Experience in investigating and reporting safety incidents, environmental concerns, and non-conformances.
Experience in delivering QHSE training programs for warehouse personn
In-depth knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations and compliance requirements for the logistics industry.
Proficiency in QHSE management system standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and accident prevention strategies.
Working knowledge of environmental sustainability practices in logistics operations.
Ability to utilize data analysis tools to monitor QHSE performance metrics
