Job summary

PT Bureau Veritas Indonesia seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for high-rise and healthcare facilities in Jakarta. This full-time role requires on-site project commitment, ensuring compliance with SNI and international standards.

You will perform inspections, calculations, and drawings, coordinate with architects and contractors, and mentor on-site teams to deliver safe, cost-effective structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (S1) and 10+ years of experience in structural roles.
• Proven experience in high-rise building construction and healthcare facility projects.
• Certified in the relevant field (SKA/SBU).

Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: Develop/review structural designs for high-rise buildings and healthcare facilities per codes.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections, testing, and QC to ensure safety and design conformance.
• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, calculations, and drawings; maintain project docs.
• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and disciplines to resolve issues.
• Compliance: Adhere to Indonesian (SNI) and international standards.
• Problem-Solving: Address structural challenges during construction phases.
• Supervision: Oversee on-site structural work and guide construction teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

b. Proven experience in similar roles related to high-rise building construction and healthcare facility projects

c. Possess SKA/SBU (Professional Certification/Business Unit Certification) in the relevant field of expertise

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design & Analysis: Develop and review structural designs for high-rise buildings and healthcare facilities in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Quality Assurance: Conduct structural inspections, testing, and quality control to ensure construction meets design specifications and safety requirements
• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, calculations, and structural drawings; maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines to resolve structural issues and optimize construction methods
• Compliance: Ensure all structural work adheres to Indonesian building codes (SNI), international standards, and project specifications
• Problem-Solving: Identify and provide solutions for structural challenges during construction phases
• Supervision: Oversee structural work execution and provide technical guidance to construction teams on-site
