You’ll create impact by:
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and manage long‑term, collaborative relationships with suppliers to foster innovation, ensure supply continuity, and negotiated favourable terms.
Cost and Value Optimization: Analyze spends and market trends to optimize procurement costs and maximize overall value using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies.
Risk & Compliance Management: Proactively identify supply chain risks and ensure all procurement practices strictly meet safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
Internal Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with Production and Logistics to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and set up timely delivery of materials for manufacturing.
Technical Switchgear Knowledge: Thoroughly understand Medium and Low Voltage switchgear panel operation, types, ratings, and safety features for accurate supplier offer evaluation.
Procurement Strategy & Track Record: Proven track record in managing all procurement activities, including developing strategies, leading negotiations, and demonstrating cost control in a manufacturing or electrical engineering environment with minimum 5 years of experience in related fields.
Procurement Analytics: Proficiency in using procurement analytics tools and data to assess supplier performance, production demand, and identify cost‐saving opportunities.
Standards and Compliance: Familiarity with international and regional certifications/standards, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals and ethical sourcing practices.
Team Leadership & Business Alignment: Capability to manage cross‑functional teams and successfully negotiate with suppliers to align procurement goals directly with overall business objectives.
