Strategic Business Development Specialist

Position: Strategic Business Development Specialist

The Strategic Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving sustainable growth in the logistics business by identifying strategic opportunities, developing partnerships, and expanding service offerings. This role combines market intelligence, strategic planning, and commercial execution within logistics and supply chain operations.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Identify new market opportunities, trade lanes, industries, and logistics solutions (warehouse & transportation).
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis within logistics and supply chain sectors.
  • Generate and manage new business leads across warehousing, transportation, and supply chain services.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, carriers, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare proposals, RFQs, tenders, and pricing strategies.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with transporters and 3PL partners.
  • Support network expansion (local, regional, and international).
  • Work closely with Operations and Solution Design team to ensure service feasibility and profitability.
  • Support product development and service optimization initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in strategic business development, sales, or commercial roles within logistics or supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, transportation, and supply chain operations.
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
