A leading building materials company in Indonesia is seeking a Specification Selling Specialist in Waterproofing. The role involves developing specifications, conducting technical presentations, and collaborating with sales teams. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Material Science, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and good command of English and Chinese.
Develop product and/or system specification in anti corrosion in projects at key influencer’s level via face to face meeting or conducting technical seminar. Forge positive synergy with commercial and marketing department. Provide feedback on products and sales tools gap.
Prioritize geography/country and target design institutes
Build project list and take ownership to generate growth.
Create and/or identify opportunities to optimize the core business & product portfolio.
Conduct technical presentations to professional groups and influencers.
Specify OYH products and/or systems in key petrochemical, energy, mining, , industrial and infra-structure projects.
Adapt value proposition of new product and process innovation for local market
Work closely with sales team & channels during specification selling activities
Interact with HQ Technical & R&D experts on offering technical solutions to users.
Act as interface between local distributor, and OYH commercial team.
Keep abreast of product approvals and monitoring codes and standards development.
Acquire in depth knowledge of local construction codes, architectural design preference, the competitive landscape to assist distributor and Grace to develop programs and initiatives to win in the marketplace.
Collaborate with other Business Units to identify synergies and implement new profitable growth opportunities
Keep abreast of new products or systems available in the rest of OYH’s full system, especially in geotextile and waterproofing via respective product group
