Job summary

VisionTech Pte. Ltd is seeking a proactive Solution Engineer to translate business needs into scalable AI and software solutions. You will gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment between customer needs, product vision, and engineering delivery.

You will work with clients, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to define solution requirements, manage stakeholders, and ensure successful implementation of AI-driven products and technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in software development, business analysis, or requirements engineering.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
• Proficient in documenting requirements and models.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyze requirements via interviews, workshops, and workflows.
• Create SRS, process models, and user stories with traceability.
• Act as central liaison among clients, product, and engineering teams.
• Validate specs align with user needs and verify delivery criteria.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Solution Engineer to translate business requirements into scalable AI and software solutions. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment between customer needs, product vision, and engineering delivery.

Working closely with clients, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams, you will play a key role in defining solution requirements, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring successful implementation of AI-driven products and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Elicitation & Analysis:

Gather requirements via stakeholder interviews, user workshops, and workflow analysis. Resolve conflicting requirements and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.

Documentation:

Create detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), process models, workflow and user stories. Maintain traceability from initial concept to final implementation.

Stakeholder Management:

Act as the central point of communication between clients, business units, product managers, and software engineers.

Validation & Verification:

Validate that specifications align with user needs and verify that the delivered software meets all specified criteria.

Change Management:

Manage requirement modifications and scope adjustments smooth as the product evolves.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in software development, business analysis, or requirements engineering.

Technical Acumen:

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and modeling tools and wiki KB (e.g., Github, Jira, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, Lucidchart, outline).

Soft Skills:

Exceptional written and verbal communication, structured analytical thinking, conflict resolution, and meticulous attention to detail.
