Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages, such as Java/Go/C++/C#/Python.
• Excellent proficiency in backend server development and understanding in relational database.
• Eagerness to learn new things in a fast-paced environment, possess strong analytical thinking, and pay exceptional attention to details.

About Global Payment

The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

The Payment Network PI team is part of the Global Payment Network organization. We focus on supporting binding payment instruments via diverse payment channels and managing the instruments lifecycle. Our mission is to ensure high-quality and reliable payment instruments through robust system design and multi-layered safeguards, enabling users to enjoy a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms such as TikTok.

Responsibilities

• 1. Build high-quality products to enrich user experience and support business requirements;
• 2. Actively participate in software development life cycle;

• 4. Eagerness to learn new things in a fast-paced environment, possess strong analytical thinking, and pay exceptional attention to details.

Preferred Qualification(s)

• 1. Minimum 3 years relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business;
• 2. Experience in building distributed systems with high availability and financial security;
• 3. Experience in financial services, domestic or international online payment is preferred;
• 4. Those with international team work experience are preferred.
