Job description

Overview

As an SDE-SR you would be required to have:

• Experience in writing shell scripts and groovy/python. Having a Java /Golang background is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge in AWS. GCP/Azure cloud providers are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge on Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS), networking, CDN.
• Expertise in solutioning and implementing scalable and performant architectures. Knowledge of microservices is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge in observability platforms using logging, monitoring and alerting (e.g., New Relic/Datadog).
• Strong understanding of deployment strategy using CI/CD tools like Jenkins & ArgoCD. Knowledge of API gateway or service mesh is a plus (preferably Istio).
• Expertise in SCM (GitLab/GitHub), code reviews, code analysis (using SonarQube) and GitOps approach.
• Hands-on experience building Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform (Hashicorp).
• Troubleshooting production issues by debugging the root cause of the problem and remediating issues quickly.
• Manage MySQL, PostgreSQL database administration on AWS (RDS).
• Good understanding of Kafka, SNS & MQTT.
• Exposure to SRE/DevOps practice using Agile approach (DSMs, KPIs) is a plus.
• DevSecOps is a plus.
