Job summary

VML, part of WPP, seeks a Social Media Officer in Jakarta to lead day-to-day social media activity and develop engaging content aligned with brand goals.

You will optimize strategies, collaborate with creators, and manage the publishing calendar while ensuring effective measurement of impact and lead generation. A hybrid work model applies, with four days in the office and flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of social media, content and/or online brand marketing experience.
• Strong knowledge of current and emerging social channels.
• Proficient with social media analytics and listening tools.
• Excellent writing and copy editing skills.
• Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms.
• Technical understanding of social media platforms.
• Good time and project management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day management and responsible for development of Social Media Officers.
• Develop, implement and optimize social media strategies.
• Collaborate with creative, content specialists, and designers to keep content informative and appealing.
• Ensure community strategies align with brand strategies.
• Manage publishing calendar, social objectives, messaging, and visuals.
• Respond to posts according to engagement rules.
• Measure and report activity and brand presence with the team.
• Analyze topics and formats to engage audiences and generate leads.
• Analyze social listening, uploading, tagging, reporting, and channel optimization.
