A leading palm oil company in Indonesia is seeking a Social Assessment Officer to conduct and evaluate Social Impact Assessments. This role involves the implementation of the FPIC process and requires a Bachelor's degree in related fields along with 2-3 years of experience in similar roles. Candidates must be fluent in English and possess strong analytical skills for project budgeting. The position offers a dynamic working environment and opportunities for travel.
The responsibilities involve conducting, monitoring, and reviewing Social Impact Assessment (SIA) surveys, including primary and secondary data collection, evaluation, and management planning. This also includes public consultation and implementing the Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) process as per RSPO standards. Additionally, tasks encompass land tenure studies, participatory mapping, and providing recommendations for audit findings related to SIA and FPIC.
