The Site Supervisor MEP will oversee and coordinate all on‑site MEP construction activities to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. This role requires hands‑on leadership, technical expertise in MEP systems, and strong coordination skills to manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and resolve site issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise daily MEP construction activities on site.
- Coordinate with civil teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP works into overall project timelines.
- Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
2. Quality & Compliance
- Inspect MEP installations to ensure quality and compliance with standards and local building codes.
- Monitor testing & commissioning processes for MEP systems.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date site records, reports, and checklists.
3. Safety Management
- Enforce safety rules and ensure all personnel follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Identify and mitigate potential site hazards.
4. Progress Monitoring
- Track daily and weekly work progress against schedules.
- Report delays, challenges, and solutions to the Project Manager.
- Assist in preparing progress reports and documentation for client meetings.
5. Problem Solving & Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance to site teams.
- Resolve on‑site technical or coordination issues promptly.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance before execution.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years experience in MEP site supervision within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, standards, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with local codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic construction management software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
