Job summary

Elitery is seeking a technically proficient IT Infrastructure Administrator to support large-scale on-premise environments. You will administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server, as well as IIS and Microsoft 365 deployments, with a strong focus on reliability and DR planning.

The role requires hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, OpenStack, or Proxmox, and a solid networking foundation including DNS/DHCP and firewalls. Hybrid work model offered in Jakarta area.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows Server administration: user management, Group Policy, event log analysis, and server lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Active Directory: user/group/OU management, domain trusts, replication, and troubleshooting.
• Experienced in managing Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premise): mailbox management, mail flow, connectors, and troubleshooting delivery issues.
• Experienced administering IIS: site/application pool management, SSL/TLS binding, log analysis, and basic performance tuning.
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 deployments: online, offline, and hybrid configurations, including Exchange Hybrid and AAD Connect.
• Solid understanding of on-premise file sharing: SMB shares, NTFS permissions, DFS namespaces, and access control.
• Familiar with managing Print Server: driver deployment, print queue management, and client connectivity troubleshooting.
• Familiar with DR concepts: main site vs. DR site, failover flow, RPO/RTO.
• Hands-on experience in on-premise private cloud operation environments such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, OpenStack, or Proxmox.
• Solid understanding of networking relevant to infrastructure: DNS, DHCP, and Firewall.
• Have good communication skills and team awareness, positive and optimistic, and have a sense of responsibility.
• Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills, able and willing to seek challenges and acquire new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customers' VM, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 deployments.
• Ensure reliability, disaster recovery, and day-to-day operational excellence for on-premise services including Exchange, IIS, and file/print.
• Collaborate with the Managed Services team to support on-premise infrastructure for clients.

About the Role

Managed service team supporting clients with large-scale on-premise infrastructure. You'll work on maintaining customers' VM, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 deployments, and mission-critical services, including Exchange, IIS, and file/print services - with a strong focus on reliability, disaster recovery, and day-to-day operational excellence.

Requirements

• Direct experience with enterprise backup tools (Veeam, Acronis, Windows Server Backup)

• Basic MSSQL Server operations: instance management, database backup/restore, and basic query troubleshooting
• Experience with application monitoring stacks: Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with Linux server administration (RHEL / Ubuntu / Rocky Linux)
• Experience with application testing and integrity checks across web-based and on-premise applications
• Hands-on experience with operation in Public cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, Azure and Alibaba Cloud
