Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Shipping & Safety Assurance Analyst located in Indonesia to manage and analyze data related to vessel inspections and safety compliance. You will facilitate vessel vetting procedures, support safety approvals, and ensure operations meet standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in a related role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience for Bachelor’s degree holders.
  • 4 years of relevant work experience for Master’s degree holders.

  • Support shared service operations ensuring consistency and compliance.

Overview

We are looking for a Shipping & Safety Assurance Analyst to join our client company to support vessel vetting and safety compliance activities. This role involves managing and analyzing data related to vessel inspections, safety approvals, and commercial assessments to ensure all operations meet internal and external standards.


Responsibilities


  • Collect, process, and analyze data related to vessel vetting, safety, and commercial compliance processes.

  • Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of vessel vetting procedures across safety and commercial aspects.

  • Support the issuance and renewal of Safety Approval (SA) and Commercial Inspection Approval (CIA).

  • Prepare inspection plans, monitor schedules, and ensure timely execution of vessel reviews.

  • Evaluate inspection results, compile reports, and provide recommendations for vessel approval decisions.

  • Monitor the validity and compliance status of active vessel approvals.

  • Support shared service operations within the Shipping & Safety Assurance function, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards.


Requirements
