About the Role

As a Shift Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our power plant. This position demands a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork. You will be responsible for monitoring plant performance, maintaining operational standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role is open to applicants within Indonesia and requires daily attendance at our Indonesia plant and willing to travel 20%

Employment Duration: 12 Months Contract

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Monitoring: Continuously monitor and record parameters for all equipment under the contract to ensure optimal performance.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks to keep equipment in top working condition and report any abnormalities promptly to the Shift Supervisor or Operation Foreman.
  • Incident Reporting: Identify and elevate operational issues, ensuring timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other crews and departments to maintain seamless operations and effective communication across shifts.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and operational procedures, promoting a culture of safety and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and reports for operational activities, inspections, and incidents.
  • Support Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving plant efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in a similar role; prior exposure to power plant operations or industrial environments is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of plant operations, equipment monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
