Job summary

Vopak is seeking a CONSTRUCTION SAFETY SITE COORDINATOR to oversee SHEQ and security activities at terminal and jetty sites. The role interfaces with contractors, EPC/sub-contractors, suppliers, and operations to ensure CSMS compliance and field safety.

The candidate will lead safety talks, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate training and drills; maintain Enablon reports and coordinate incident investigations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, Coordinate and Supervise all HSE related activities on construction/project sites, coordinating between EPC contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, third parties and Operations.
• Develop and deliver SHEQ programs, such as induction, inspections and safety training; ensure proper documentation in Enablon.

Job description

• Lead, Coordinate and Supervise all SHEQ & Security related To activities on the Terminal and Jetty site and interface between discipline include security, contractor and other third party
• Ensure the CSMS implementation are meet with the procedure and regulation for all contractor activity at JTT
• Maintain a general contractor safety management system (CSMS) as required to standards and government rules. As the vocal point of CSMS and Construction Safety Coordinator.
• Coordinate in the CSMS Procedure implementation starting from pre-qualification, risk assessment, execution until evaluation completion
• Lead, Coordinate and Supervise all HSE relate activities on the construction/project site and interface between EPC contractors, Sub Contractors, Suppliers, third party and Operations (ensure CSMS program are comply implemented
• Provide Specialized SHEQ Support and Supervise for the terminal team, contractor and third party such as truck driver mooring crew etc
• Maintain HSE Report Statistic and documentation and As Site SHE vocal point coordinators
• Responsible for HSE Compliance and Overall Project Technical Site HSE Performance including investigation for any incident
• Develop and conduct training for relevant functions including contractors/vendors/third party within the business organisation ensuring that all personnel are Vopak and trained appropriately for the terminal hazards and procedures.
• To develop and maintain a good management information system to support the documentation required by SHEQ functions.
• To advise the project/MTC department and the terminals on compliance to all safety, health, environmental and security regulations and requirements.
• Have safety talks in the field during SOR’s; directly take corrective actions if needed; make a clear report in Enablon.
• Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents and accident immediately to Team Leader and SHEQ Manager and create a clear Enablon report with detailed description and pictures (if possible).
• Approach colleagues, management, contractors and third parties and give feedback on their (safety) behaviour.
• Initiate and follow-up improvements in the area of SHEQ.
• Correctly follow all procedures and instructions.
• Support and conduct routine inspection for the fire detection & protection equipment, Oil Spill kit, First aid kit, PPE and other safety equipment and following up for any gaps/finding
• Lead site safety activities such as safety talk, walkthrough, management review, audit, inspection, drill, tool box, mass meeting etc
• Support and conduct drill & exercise following ERP include the Security/ISPS code plan, contractor’s activities etc.
• Deliver Risk Assessment Workshop for the operations and contractor, Safety Group Meeting, Toolbox Talk, training plan & inspection Program, Safety & Security Drill and exercise and P2K3 Committee.
• Conduct and deliver SHEQ programs, SHEQ programs, such as Induction, Inspection Audit and others SHEQ & Security related
• Maintain SHEQ Report Statistic and documentation and As Site SHEQ Coordinator vocal point coordination
• Strong Leadership, vocal point of SHEQ Site Contract and as Construction Safety Site Contact (CSMS)
• Support Operations SHEQ & Security for the SHEQ&S Matters related when required
