About the role

Fuji Packaging Machines Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Technician/Engineer to join our team in South Tambun West Java. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance services for our range of innovative packaging machinery. With a focus on field engineering, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' operations run seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, and maintenance of our packaging machines at customer locations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
• Coordinate with customers to schedule and complete servicing and repair work
• Provide training and guidance to customers on the proper operation and care of our equipment
• Maintain detailed records of all service activities and recommend improvements to products or processes
• Collaborate with the wider technical team to share knowledge and implement best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Technician or Field Engineer in the packaging machinery industry
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems found in packaging equipment
• Understanding of relevant safety regulations and the ability to work in a safe and compliant manner
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required
