Responsibilities
- Drive creation and innovation while delivering significant contributions to the growth of Bank Jasa Jakarta.
- Act as a facilitator serving one or more Scrum Teams, providing support to the Product Owner, Development Team, and Stakeholders.
- Monitor Scrum Teams to ensure agile, adaptive, transparent, and professional development processes.
- Uphold and instill Scrum Core Values within the team: Courage, Focus, Openness, Respect, and Commitment.
- Protect the Development Team from external interventions and impediments.
- Escalate and resolve impediments faced by the Development Team.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure development aligns with agreed Sprint Goals.
- Help prioritize the Product Backlog with the Product Owner based on business value and urgency.
- Monitor the Development Team in conducting Scrum Ceremonies.
- Analyze problems and proactively support the Scrum Team in finding both short‑term and long‑term solutions.
- Identify opportunities and implement process/workflow improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Conduct training and knowledge‑sharing sessions on Agile methodology and Scrum framework for the Scrum Team and the wider organization.
- Collaborate with other teams inside and outside IT with clear, constructive, and positive communication.
- Remove blockers for the team and ensure Agile practices are followed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Delivery Leads.
- Provide regular reporting on team progress and impediments.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
- Mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of self‑organization and accountability.
- Identify and remove blockers that prevent the team from achieving sprint goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between cross‑functional teams, including product owners, developers, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Guide the team in Agile practices and ensure smooth adoption.
- Manage impediments, dependencies, and team blockers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine backlog items.
- Ensure delivery meets Definition of Done (DoD) and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development projects (SDLC).
- At least 5 years of combined experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Development Team member, or Project Manager.
- Hands‑on experience as a Developer/Coder.
- Solid knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Proven experience in facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑up, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Business Analyst experience, with at least 3 years of working experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Indonesian.
- Ability to organize and manage Agile scrum ceremonies.
- Drive Sprint planning, daily scrum, retrospective meetings, etc.
- Significant business analysis skills such as requirements understanding and translating it into user stories, giving client demos, etc.
- Prior knowledge and experience with empirical process control, event based practice, system thinking, negotiation and facilitation.
- Prior knowledge and understanding of best Agile methods.
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Good understanding of the technology and financial industry.
- Willing to work Onsite/Hybrid in Jakarta Area.
- Have Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM) is a big plus.
- Experience coaching Agile teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Proficiency with Agile tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally.
- Understanding of DevOps/CI‑CD processes.
- Familiar with Agile metrics: velocity, burndown, throughput.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge in agile software development environments.
- Must have experience in banking industry.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with a focus on fostering collaboration.
- Minimum 5 years experience as Scrum Master (mid–senior level).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques & artifacts (DoD, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
- Hands‑on experience using JIRA.
- Scrum certification is a plus.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (S1), preferably in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Experience in IT projects, software development, or as a support role in an Agile team.
- Understanding of basic Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Good communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
- Familiar with project/Agile tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Planner.
- Can communicate in English (basic communication).
- Have experience working professionally for at least 2 years as a Scrum Master.
- Full remote work (WFH).
- No issues in working for financial services (banking, insurance, etc).
- Have good communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in handling more than 1 team.
