Job summary

Axonect seeks a Senior UI/UX Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience crafting intuitive iOS and Android apps for a telecommunications platform. You will own the end-to-end mobile experience, transforming plan top-ups, eSIM activations, and real-time usage tracking into effortless, high-performing features.

You will lead native design lifecycles, collaborate with engineers and PMs, and continuously improve navigation, interactions, and conversion through analytics and usability testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dedicated UI/UX design experience for mobile applications (native iOS/Android or cross‑platform).
• Expert-level skills in Figma (auto-layout, components, interactive prototyping) and mobile-focused handoff tools.
• Strong understanding of gesture-based navigation, touch targets, responsive layouts, and native platform patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the native iOS and Android design lifecycle from user flows and wireframes to high‑fidelity interfaces.
• Design seamless mobile-first journeys for features like plan top-ups, eSIM onboarding, and live usage tracking.
• Conduct user testing, A/B experiments, and usability audits to validate designs and reduce app drop-off.
• Maintain and expand our mobile design system in alignment with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
• Collaborate with Mobile Engineers and Product Managers to ensure design fidelity and feasibility.
• Use app analytics to refine navigation, micro-interactions, and conversion loops.

In this role, you will own the end‑to‑end mobile experience—transforming complex subscriber workflows like plan top‑ups, eSIM activations, and real‑time usage tracking into effortless, high‑performing mobile app features.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Product Design: Own the native iOS and Android design lifecycle, from user flows and wireframes to interactive prototypes and high‑fidelity interfaces
  
• Telecom App Workflows: Design seamless mobile‑first journeys for core utility features, including instant bill payments, data package purchases, eSIM onboarding, and live support
  
• User Research & Usability: Conduct user testing, A/B experiments, and mobile usability audits to validate feature designs and reduce app drop‑off rates
  
• Mobile Design Systems: Maintain and expand our mobile component library in compliance with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design (Android) standards
  
• Cross‑Functional Handoff: Collaborate directly with Mobile Engineers (iOS/Android/Flutter) and Product Managers to ensure design fidelity and technical feasibility
  
• App Performance Optimization: Leverage app analytics (e.g., user session recordings, funnel analytics) to continuously refine navigation, micro‑interactions, and conversion loops
  

Person Specifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of dedicated UI/UX design experience for mobile applications (native iOS/Android or cross‑platform), ideally within telecom, fintech, or high‑volume consumer apps
• Tooling Expertise: Expert‑level skills in Figma (auto‑layout, components, interactive prototyping) and mobile‑focused handoff tools
• Mobile Design Standards: Deep understanding of gesture‑based navigation, touch‑target standards, responsive layouts, and native platform patterns
• Problem‑Solving: Demonstrated ability to turn complex backend telecom logic into clean, minimal, and accessible mobile interfaces
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing real‑world mobile app designs, end‑to‑end UX rationale, and visual polish
