As a Senior Tour Consultant, you will be the key point of contact for our clients, ensuring seamless, high-quality travel experiences from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Deliver expert support to demanding clients with high expectations.
- Provide guidance on destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Design and manage group tours and bespoke itineraries tailored to client needs.
- Coordinate all logistics, including multi-leg flights, transfers, and on-ground activities.
- Negotiate with suppliers and destination management companies (DMCs) to secure competitive rates.
- Manage relationships with multiple agencies and suppliers across destinations.
- Proactively upsell and cross-sell products and services.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new destinations.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a Tour Consultant/Travel Advisor, specifically in group tour operations.
- Strong background in working with multiple DMCs or travel agencies that specialize in tours.
- Service-oriented mindset — always ready to assist clients, even in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
- In-depth knowledge of global destinations, accommodation types, and travel activities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Proficiency with travel booking/reservation systems.
- Passion for travel and dedication to creating memorable client experiences.
- Thorough knowledge of popular travel destinations, local attractions, and cultural customs.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing client requirements.
- Ability to create and calculate domestic and international tour packages.
