Job summary

Mastercard East SEA is looking for a Senior Specialist, Technical Architect to lead solution design across financial institutions, fintechs, and merchants in the region. You will translate business needs into scalable technical architectures, collaborating with product, sales, and engineering teams to drive integration strategies with issuers, processors, PSPs, and APIs.

You will mentor partners and ensure delivery readiness and architectural governance.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in payments, banking tech, fintech, or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems including issuers, acquirers, processors, networks, PSPs, merchants, gateways, and fintech platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing technology solutions within financial services or payment environments.

Responsibilities

• Design customer-centric technical solutions and translate business requirements into architecture.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product, and Tech teams to align roadmaps and implementations.
• Define API integration approaches, data exchange, authentication models, and system interactions.
• Support technical discovery sessions and client meetings with actionable guidance.
• Build reusable analytical assets and dashboards to support customer engagements.
