Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia in Jakarta is seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to lead complex tax projects and disputes, while providing advisory support to clients. You will supervise junior staff, coordinate with clients, and ensure technical accuracy of deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The ideal candidate will possess Indonesian tax expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-volume engagements under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum 4 years in tax consulting, advisory, or law firms focused on taxation.
• USKP A and USKP B certifications are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (KUP, PPh, PPN).
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support senior management in handling tax consulting, litigation, and dispute projects.
• Review junior/senior work for technical accuracy and quality.
• Manage tax compliance, advisory, transfer pricing, and due diligence projects.
• Handle tax dispute processes including audits, objections, and appeals.
• Coordinate with clients on progress, documentation, and technical requirements.
• Mentor team members to improve capabilities and workflow efficiency.
• Monitor regulatory updates and their impact on client operations.
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Prepare technical tax analyses, reports, and supporting documentation.
