Job summary

pt. pelsart tambang kencana is seeking a Senior Manager Tax to lead the tax function in Indonesia.

You will oversee tax compliance, advisory, audits, and dispute management for mining operations, ensuring alignment with Indonesian regulations and industry specifics. The role requires deep tax expertise, stakeholder engagement with authorities and external advisors, and leadership of a high-performing tax team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/Taxation or related field.
• Extensive experience in Indonesian tax compliance.
• Experience in mining taxation, royalties, PNBP and related fiscal matters.
• Proven hands-on experience handling tax audits, SP2DK, tax assessments, objections, appeals and Tax Court processes.
• Strong understanding of tax dispute management and external advisors.
• Ability to build relationships with tax authorities and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to Indonesian regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and evaluate impact on the business.
• Provide expert tax guidance on mining and natural resources taxation.
• Lead tax audits, examinations, assessments, objections, appeals and Tax Court proceedings.
• Develop dispute strategies and manage external advisors.
• Mentor and lead the Tax team to ensure timely deliverables.
