About the role

We are seeking a mid-to-senior level accountant based in Bali to lead and manage our accounting and tax team. This role will oversee the accounting operations and ensure accurate tax compliance across Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, multi-country tax knowledge, and the ability to fix existing tax and accounting issues while improving overall processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the accounting and bookkeeping team.
• Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop and improve internal processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate records and internal controls.
• TAX MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE: Handle tax reporting and compliance in Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia.
• Identify and resolve existing tax/accounting issues across these regions.
• Act as the main point of contact for external tax advisors or authorities if required.
• CROSS-BORDER ACCOUNTING OVER sight: Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations in all applicable countries.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on cross-border financial analysis.

• Proven experience managing accountants or bookkeeping teams.
