A technology company in Indonesia is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to monitor and manage IT systems. This role involves proactive incident response, collaboration with engineering teams, and delivering technical support to stakeholders. Candidates must have a minimum of a diploma in IT, over five years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft technologies. Strong communication skills in English are essential, and knowledge of French is a plus.
Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Azure, VMware, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365 Suite.
Solid understanding of Cloud technologies and IT systems architecture.
Fluent in English (spoken and written) at a minimum of EU C1 level.
Preferred experience in a supervisory or coordinator role in IT Systems/Networks/Database Administration or a similar domain.
Monitor systems and respond proactively to incidents and alerts.
Analyze and resolve incidents within agreed SLA timelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and address issues raised via monitoring tools.
Schedule and execute manual patch deployments as listed in internal documentation.
Act as the first responder for license renewals and escalated as per procedure.
Provide technical support for systems and infrastructure, serving both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Holds an IT‑related diploma/degree or has equivalent experience.
Demonstrates strong operational knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
Able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Well‑organized, capable of multitasking, managing priorities, and delivering on deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules (including potential shift work) and evolving technical responsibilities.
Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of French is a plus.
