Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking an engineer to create reinforcement learning environments to test AI models' problem-solving abilities and to develop robust software engineering solutions. You will design, implement and evaluate environments that enable reproducible experiments and golden references.

Responsibilities include refactoring codebases, optimizing performance for scale, and delivering maintainable solutions with clean interfaces.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python3, Java, Rust, or TypeScript, with additional experience in C++ or Go considered a strong asset.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience in debugging complex software issues and delivering maintainable solutions.
• Strong background in feature development and codebase refactoring.
• Proven ability to optimize software for performance and scalability.

Responsibilities
