Job summary

PT. OUJI SEIYAKU INDONESIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Indonesia to develop, maintain and enhance web applications using PHP, Laravel and Vue.js.

This individual contributor role involves collaboration with regional teams, requires strong English communication, and requires onsite work in Green Office Park 1, BSD, South Tangerang. You will design databases, implement caching, and deliver end-to-end features, while participating in code reviews and supporting deployment on Linux

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of professional PHP web development experience.
• Strong hands-on Laravel framework experience.
• Experience with Vue.js 2 or 3 and Vue File Components.
• Good understanding of MySQL database design and query optimization.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third‑party services.
• Familiarity with Git and team‑based development workflows.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of Redis, queue jobs and caching strategies.
• Basic experience with Linux server environments and application deployment.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile development practices.

About the Role

PT. OUJI SEIYAKU INDONESIA is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in PHP, Laravel and Vue.js to develop, maintain and improve our web applications.

This is an individual contributor role based in Indonesia. Currently, there is no dedicated local development team for this position in Indonesia. The successful candidate will collaborate remotely with regional team members based outside Indonesia, while the Hiring Manager and key users for this position are based in Malaysia.

Therefore, good English communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.

Build responsive and reusable frontend components using Vue.js 2 or Vue.js 3.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate applications with third‑party services.

Technical Requirements

Familiarity with Git and team‑based development workflows.

Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.

Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile development practices.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

Candidates with strong production experience or a solid project portfolio may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Good English communication skills for meetings, technical discussions and written communication with regional team members.

Willing and able to work fully onsite at Green Office Park 1, BSD, South Tangerang.

Comfortable working independently without a dedicated local development team in Indonesia.
