Job Description: Senior Software Engineer

Title: Senior Software Engineer

Reports to: Chief Product and Innovation Officer (CPIO)

Salary range: 20-25 mio IDR per month

About This Role

This is a unique leadership opportunity, not a typical senior developer role. You will be a founding engineer on our new Innovation Team, reporting directly to the Chief Product and Innovation Officer (CPIO).

Your mission is to act as the technical lead for a new squad building advanced AI agents from the ground up using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK). We are building scalable solutions for both internal and commercial use, and you will be the "lieutenant" responsible for translating the CPIO's product vision and architecture into production-ready code.

You will lead the day-to-day implementation, manage code quality, and mentor junior engineers. If you love building new, high-impact products and leading small, elite teams, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Act as the team lead, managing all code reviews and unblocking your juniors.

• Mentorship: Helping the team grow their skills in Python, asyncio, and agentic design.

• Core Implementation: Take the CPIO's high-level architecture and personally build the most complex, foundational parts of the AI agent system.

• Framework Mastery: Quickly become our internal expert on the Google ADK, establishing best practices for the team.

• Product & System Design: Collaborate with the CPIO on product strategy, system design, API integrations, and simulation strategies.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in backend development, primarily with Python.

• Python Expertise: You are a Python expert. You have a deep, practical understanding of asyncio and asynchronous programming. This is not optional.

• Systems Integration: Demonstrable experience building and integrating complex systems. You are an expert in REST APIs, gRPC, and authentication (OAuth, etc.).

• Leadership & Mentorship: You must have proven experience mentoring junior developers. You enjoy code reviews and teaching others.

• "Learn-it-all" Attitude: You are excited, not intimidated, by the challenge of learning a brand-new framework (Google ADK) from its documentation.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with other agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Autogen).

• Experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering.

• Experience with messaging queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) or gRPC.
