Job summary

Cermati.com is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work closely with a Lead Software Engineer or Engineering Manager. You will drive medium to large projects within your product domain while collaborating with a high-performance team.

You will also contribute to API development and system enhancements to serve a large user base on Google Cloud Platform. Candidate should have 4+ years in software engineering, strong Java/NodeJS skills, and experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience for Senior level in startup/fintech/banking is a plus
• Strong problem solving & software engineering skills with Java and/or NodeJS
• Experience with RDBMS like PostgreSQL/MySQL
• Experience with Git and collaboration tools (GitHub/Phabricator)
• Passionate about building products and solving real world problems
• Curious to explore creative solutions and integrate them into workable systems

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a mentor to achieve team goals and personal growth
• Lead execution of medium to large size projects per product domain
• Participate in requirement/specification phases and help design solutions
• Contribute to building APIs and improving functionality and bug fixes for users

• Working with our in-house cutting-edge & advance DevOps tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, on top of Google Cloud Platform)
