Job summary

ParagonCorp is seeking a Senior Security Architect to strengthen our Security Engineering & Architecture capability. You will work with Technology, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Cybersecurity teams to embed security into design and delivery of solutions.

The role involves defining architecture standards, leading design reviews, evaluating security technologies, and ensuring robust controls across the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or another STEM field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, security architecture, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of security architecture principles, controls, and secure-by-design practices.
• Experience leading security design reviews for applications, systems, or cloud environments.
• Experience implementing and operationalizing security controls across cloud, network, identity, and data security.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve security reference architectures, standards, patterns, and capability maps across the technology environment.
• Lead security design-review gates for new projects, changes, integrations, and in-house apps before go-live.
• Assess architectures and data flows to identify risks and define security requirements and controls.
• Lead evaluations, PoCs, and tenders for security technologies and platforms such as SSE and SAST.
