The Senior Sales Specialist will drive business growth by acquiring and maintaining major customers for warehouse distribution (W&D) and freight forwarding (air and sea) services, including large and multinational companies in Indonesia.
This role requires a high-performing sales professional who understands the logistics business landscape, builds long-term client relationships, and delivers tailored service solutions for complex customer needs. This is a strategic and hands-on position focused on securing new business while retaining key accounts through proactive engagement, solution-oriented selling, and collaboration with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Identify, approach, and acquire new business opportunities with large local and multinational companies.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and service consistency.
Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals, and negotiate terms for customized logistics solutions.
Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to deliver smooth end-to-end service.
Monitor client performance, gather feedback, and initiate improvement actions where needed.
Track market trends, analyze competitors, and propose strategies to strengthen market position.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of sales experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
Proven track record of securing and managing top-tier enterprise clients, including large and multinational ones.
Strong network with local and international companies in sectors such as manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, and energy.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of air and sea freight operations, warehousing, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Strong business development, negotiation, and key account management capabilities.
Language Skills: Fluent in English for business communication, including client meetings and negotiations.

Goal-oriented, persuasive, and professional communicator.
Strong relationship management and presentation skills.
Proactive, independent, and able to perform under minimal supervision.
