A leading food distribution company in Sidoarjo, Indonesia, is seeking a sales professional to drive growth in Modern Trade and General Trade accounts. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in the Consumer Goods industry. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, planning sales visits, and maintaining strong client relationships. The company offers a dynamic work environment focused on leadership development.
Meet individual sales targets and contribute to the overall company sales goals.
Plan, organise, and conduct regular sales visits to key accounts.
Build strong relationships with retailers to maximise product visibility and sales performance.
Work with the management team to identify, analyse, and evaluate new market opportunities within the retail segment.
Develop, communicate, and implement effective sales strategies for Modern Trade and General Trade accounts.
Ensure product distribution, availability, and in-store trade activities are executed effectively.
Maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential clients to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Monitor and ensure the proper placement of Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials in outlets according to management guidelines.
Oversee the implementation of distribution targets, including new product developments (NPDs).
Ensure promotional activities are carried out effectively and in alignment with management instructions.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Consumer Goods industry, specifically in Modern Trade and General Trade channels.
Proven experience in handling major Modern Trade accounts is highly preferred.
Strong communication, selling, negotiation, and merchandising skills.
Excellent customer service abilities with a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
Highly self-motivated, sales-oriented, and both process- and results-driven.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
