Job summary

PT Unelec Indonesia (UNINDO) is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the electrical design of power transformers and related mechanical components. You will design tanks, covers, radiators, and support structures, review drawings, and coordinate analyses to ensure mechanical integrity under various conditions.

The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with Inventor, ANSYS, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with Transformers is a plus.
• Knowledge of Inventor, ANSYS and MS Office.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical aspects of transformers including tanks, covers, radiators, and supports.
• Review general arrangement drawings and components.
• Coordinate analysis reports (tank strength, seismic, FEA).
• Generate BOMs and part lists for manufacturing.
• Manage mechanical design within project life cycle.
