A boutique eco-resort in Bali is seeking a Senior Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team while also engaging in cleaning duties. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role within a 4-star resort or hotel. Responsibilities include team management, quality control, inventory oversight, and direct collaboration with resort management to enhance guest experiences. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential, and the position can be live-in or live-out.
We are seeking a housekeeping professional to head the small team of housekeeping personnel in our eco-resort in Pererenan. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading a HK team to deliver an exceptional level of cleaning and service, be meticulous in their attention-to-detail and be IT proficient and comfortable with small team management, regular reporting, and inventory control.
As a boutique resort this senior housekeeping role is a hands‑on position combining supervisory duties with daily room and public area cleaning duties to ensure a consistently high level of cleanliness, service and delivery in all relevant areas of our guests’ experience.
We aim to elevate our current HK service offering with greater control, training and attention to detail, preferably with a female candidate to balance out our existing male team.
The position can be live‑in or live‑out with a good package for the right candidate with proven experience and written references. Immediate start preferred.
Lead, manage, and motivate a housekeeping team, including working with the Resort Management on scheduling, training, and performance management.
Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality control measures.
Oversee and coordinate the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring efficient and thorough service delivery.
Train and develop the housekeeping team to continuously improve service delivery.
As a hand‑on role, the HK Supervisor will also be expected to engage in cleaning of guest rooms and public areas whilst supervising and guiding other HK personnel.
Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and linens, and place orders as needed.
Inspect all guest room and public areas to identify and resolve any issues.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
Minimum two years experience as a Senior Housekeeper or in a similar role in a 4* hotel or resort.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent attention to detail, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
IT proficient to manage inventories, staff management and stock ordering.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Friendly and professional demeanor and willing to work both independently and as a team‑member.
Honest, conscientious, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends on a shift basis.
Available to assist in other areas of the resort as required - ie. be an ‘all‑rounder’!
