We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Senior Housekeeper and Household Manager to maintain our residence to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is meticulous, trustworthy, and possesses a strong work ethic, with the unique ability to handle all aspects of professional housekeeping, laundry, and pet care (specifically for a dog). This is a vital role requiring flexibility and a positive, “can-do” attitude.

Key Responsibilities

1. Housekeeping & Organizational Management

• Deep Cleaning: Perform thorough and detailed cleaning of all areas of the home (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, and exterior/patio areas).
• Routine Maintenance: Execute daily straightening and tidying, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Organization: Maintain organization in closets, pantries, cabinets, and drawers. Assist with seasonal rotation of clothing/linens as needed.
• Inventory: Monitor and manage household supplies (cleaning products, toiletries, etc.), ensuring items are always stocked and ordered in a timely manner.
• Special Projects: Handle occasional deep cleaning projects, appliance cleaning (oven, fridge interior), and window cleaning.

2. Laundry & Wardrobe Care

• Full-Cycle Laundry: Execute all household and personal laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, steaming, and meticulous folding/hanging.
• Delicate Care: Expertly handle special fabrics and delicates, understanding proper care labels and techniques.
• Linen Management: Change and refresh bed linens, bath towels, and kitchen towels regularly.

3. Pet Care (Dog)

• Daily Walking: Provide daily exercise for our friendly dog with regular, scheduled walks.
• Feeding & Hydration: Ensure the dog is fed according to the established schedule and always has fresh water.
• Companionship & Comfort: Provide affectionate care, including petting, playing, and offering companionship. Must be genuinely comfortable and experienced interacting with dogs.
• Cleanliness: Maintain the dog’s area, including cleaning food/water bowls and managing pet-related laundry (e.g., blankets, towels).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of verifiable, professional experience in a similar role (e.g., Senior Housekeeper, Estate Housekeeper, or Household Manager).
• Meticulous Standards: Proven ability to maintain a pristine environment with exceptional attention to detail.
• Laundry Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in high-level laundry care, including ironing, steaming, and handling fine garments.
• Pet-Friendly: Must genuinely love and be comfortable around dogs, with prior experience in dog walking and basic pet care.
• Trustworthiness: Must possess impeccable references and a commitment to discretion and confidentiality.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and highly organized with the ability to manage a detailed checklist independently.
• Physical Stamina: Able to perform all physical duties of the job, including walking the dog multiple times per day, lifting up to 20 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
• Legal: Must be legally authorized to work, have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation (preferred).
