Job summary

Siloam International Hospitals (Siloam) seeks a Medical Doctor to provide direct patient care through consultations, diagnoses and treatment planning.

The role includes supervising junior staff, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations while upholding high clinical standards and compassionate patient care.

You will participate in continuing medical education and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes and organisational efficiency.

Qualifications

• MD degree and active Medical Registration Certificate (STR).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certifications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Practitioner.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through comprehensive medical consultations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior general practitioners and medical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and best practices.
• Conduct clinical assessments and make sound medical decisions based on patient presentations and diagnostic findings.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Oversee quality assurance initiatives and implement clinical improvement programs within the practice.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support professional development.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and organizational efficiency.
• Manage patient communication with professionalism and empathy, addressing concerns and building trust.

• Holds a valid and active Medical Registration Certificate (STR).
• Holds valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certifications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a clinic or hospital.
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
