Job summary

ECCO Sko A/S is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer for our eCommerce team. You will build performant, scalable interfaces using Next.js, React and TypeScript, influencing customer engagement and conversions across our global online platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in frontend development, deep knowledge of SSR/SSG/ISR, headless CMS, and API-driven architectures. You will collaborate with product, design and backend teams, mentor juniors, and own feature delivery through robust CI/CD

Qualifications

5+ years frontend dev with React and Next.js.
Built large-scale, high-traffic ecommerce apps.
Deep knowledge of SSR/SSG/ISR and edge rendering.
Headless CMS, search platforms and API-driven (GraphQL/REST).
Web performance (Core Web Vitals), WCAG & SEO.
Git, CI/CD, and frontend testing (Jest, Playwright).
Proactive mindset and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO across pages and components.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless UX.
Stay up to date with frontend technologies and best practices.
Architect reusable components and scalable frontend systems.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and frontend tests.
Lead development of new features using Next.js, React and TypeScript.
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
