Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist – Well Testing Project to lead safe, efficient well testing at customer sites. You will coordinate field crews, ensure readiness of testing equipment, monitor operations, and maintain rigorous safety and quality. The role requires deep field experience and strong teamwork to deliver reliable wellsite services.

You will engage with customers, engineers, logistics, and HSE to resolve challenges and ensure exemplary service throughout the job cycle.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma, technical diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline with field experience.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in oil and gas well testing or related field operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and safety performance in demanding field environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient execution of well testing at the wellsite, including pre-job prep, rig-up, testing, sampling, data capture and demobilization.
• Coordinate field team members, allocate tasks, ensure clear handovers and alignment with the program.
• Drive service excellence, delivering on-time, within customer specs and Baker Hughes standards.
• Prepare and support operation readiness of testing equipment and safety systems.
• Monitor wellsite parameters and escalate issues while supporting timely corrective actions.
• Mentor junior crew members and promote safe, disciplined, customer-focused field culture.
• Maintain accurate field documentation including reports, tickets, checklists and HSE records.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors, customers and cross-functional teams.
