Job description

We are seeking a Senior Delivery Microsoft – Azure Data & AI professional to join our delivery team. This role will be responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of Microsoft Azure Data & AI solutions, ensuring that projects meet business requirements, technical quality standards, and client success outcomes. The position requires strong expertise in Azure data services, analytics, and AI capabilities, as well as proven experience managing enterprise-scale solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of Azure Data & AI projects, including data platform modernization, analytics, and AI-driven business solutions.
• Translate architecture designs into detailed delivery plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical requirements, and timelines.
• Provide technical leadership across data ingestion, transformation, storage, visualization, and machine learning components within Azure.
• Implement and optimize Azure data services such as Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Data Engineers to ensure solution scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Manage and coordinate delivery resources, ensuring adherence to best practices, governance, and security standards.
• Conduct assessments and migrations from on-premises or legacy systems to Azure-based data platforms.
• Support pre-sales and proposal development by providing delivery expertise, technical input, and effort estimation.
• Develop and maintain delivery documentation including design validation, implementation guides, testing, and handover materials.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies, automation, and data engineering practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering Azure Data & AI or related data platform solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong technical expertise in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with AI/ML services such as Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, or OpenAI on Azure.
• Proven track record in leading data platform or analytics project delivery teams.
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data scripting languages is an advantage.
• Microsoft certifications such as DP-203 (Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure), AI-102 (Designing and Implementing an Azure AI Solution), or AZ-305 are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
