Grab is seeking a Senior Growth Data Scientist (Analytics) to join the Marketing and Growth team in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will drive data-informed growth strategies, optimize CRM programs, and partner with Marketing and Growth to expand the user base and improve engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data-related field required.
• 5+ years in data science focused on growth analytics and CRM.
• Experience with AI tools, LLMs, and self-serve analytics capabilities.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R or SQL.
• Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven growth strategies to acquire, retain and engage users.
• Design and run A/B tests to optimize CRM programs and marketing campaigns.
• Build predictive models to forecast customer behavior and identify growth opportunities.
• Analyze lifecycle data to improve customer segmentation and targeting.
• Lead AI-powered initiatives with LLMs to automate CRM workflows and personalization.
• Create self-serve analytics tools and dashboards for stakeholders.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving data-informed growth strategy and user engagement across our organization. You will partner closely with Marketing and Growth teams to define and implement regional strategies aimed at expanding our user base and enhancing user engagement.s

We are looking for a Senior Growth Data Scientist specializing in CRM programs to join our dynamic team in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, you will do more than traditional analytics: you will combine advanced CRM analytics, machine learning, and experimentation with an AI-first mindset to build scalable, intelligent growth solutions. Beyond standard data workflows, you will identify opportunities to create AI-powered frameworks and self-serve tools—utilizing technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI—to scale growth strategies and optimize customer relationship management programs. Reporting to the Manager who is based in our Singapore Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments to improve CRM programs and marketing campaigns.
• Build predictive models to forecast customer behavior and identify growth opportunities.
• Analyze customer lifecycle data to obtain applicable insights and improve customer segmentation.
• Drive plans and initiatives involving Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to automate workflows and enhance CRM personalization.
• Develop automated, self-serve AI solutions and analytical frameworks that enable stakeholders to make faster, scalable business decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to translate complex analytical findings into clear, applicable recommendations.
• Create dashboards and systemic reporting solutions to communicate main performance metrics and trends.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on growth analytics, customer lifecycle analysis, and CRM strategies.
• An AI-first mindset: a strong curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools, automation, Generative AI, and LLMs to elevate analytics and decision-making.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Proven track record in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and growth experiments.
• Experience or demonstrated capability in developing scalable, self-serve data products or AI-powered solutions for commercial or product environments.
