Job summary

PT ABISHAR TECHNOLOGIES INDONESIA is seeking a senior data engineer/backend developer in Jakarta to design and maintain production data pipelines and services. You will implement robust data architectures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliability in regulated environments.

Must have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience; expertise with Debezium, Python, Kubernetes, SQL, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

5+ years total data engineering or backend development experience

Demonstrated experience supporting production systems in regulated environments

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience

Primary Technologies

Debezium: 2+ years with CDC connector configuration, source connectors (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)

Python: 2+ years developing data pipelines, consumer applications, async programming, and error handling

Kubernetes: 1+ years with pod management, deployments, services, ConfigMaps, secrets, resource limits, and troubleshooting

RDBMS: 2+ years with SQL Query Handling, data loading (SQL*Loader, INSERT/UPDATE scripts), and performance tuning

ETL/ELT pipeline design and optimization

SQL DML knowledge

Python Dataframe knowledge

DevOps & Tools

Docker containerization and image building

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)

Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or cloud equivalents)

Version control (Git)

Nice To Have

Oracle RDBMS knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL Loader
