Job summary

Thales in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to help design and run data pipelines across cloud and on‑premise environments. You will collect, model, and render data to empower end users with accurate analyses through reports and dashboards.

You will work with Talend, SQL Server, Azure Data services, and CI/CD pipelines, building scalable data platforms, data warehouses, and data marts while collaborating with global IT teams to deliver value for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or mathematics.
Master's degree would be advantageous.
Experience with CI/CD, data modeling, Talend, SQL, Agile, and SSAS.

Responsibilities

Assembling large, complex data sets meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
Developing reusable ETL jobs and use cases.
Designing connectors and jobs for data ingestion.
Developing Talend jobs and deploying interfaces.
Improving internal processes and automating data delivery.
Building data pipelines and data warehouses for analytics.
Working with Azure data services and CI/CD pipelines.
