Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks a Data Center Technical Director to lead engineering integrity, solution design, and governance for large-scale data center projects in Jakarta Selatan. You will serve as the technical authority across pre-sales and post-sales, coordinating architects, engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure feasible and competitive solutions.

Key duties include design reviews, BOQ validation, risk management, and adherence to international standards such as Uptime Institute and TCCF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on data center design, solution architecture, infrastructure engineering, or mission-critical facility implementation.
• Experience managing both pre-sales technical solutioning and post-sales delivery for large-scale data center projects (500+ racks preferred).
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure including power distribution, UPS, HVAC, cooling technologies, modular data centers, and mission-critical facilities.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, load calculations, BOQ validation, and coordinating multidisciplinary designs.
• Familiar with commissioning, integration testing, and standards like TCCF and Uptime Institute.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of technical solutions, engineering designs, delivery strategies, and BOQ for large-scale data center projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to review blueprints and ensure design consistency.
• Act as primary technical authority during pre-sales solution design and support competitive bidding.
• Provide technical leadership during project implementation by managing risks and validating design changes.
• Ensure compliance with international data center standards, commissioning procedures, and QA frameworks.
• Collaborate with regional/global teams to localize and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Support suppliers, consultants, contractors, and project teams throughout construction and commissioning.
• Drive continuous technical improvement while ensuring reliability and successful delivery.
