Job summary

The National Research and Innovation Agency of The Republic of Indonesia is seeking a Senior Researcher based in Sleman to lead and conduct advanced research in cyclotron science and technology, including experimental design, modeling, simulation, and data analysis.

You will prepare technical reports, publications, and presentations for stakeholders, coordinate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior researchers, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and contribute to proposals

Qualifications

• Strong background in particle accelerators, especially in ion source of cyclotron.
• Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, modeling, and use of relevant scientific software or simulation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex experiments, interpret results, and translate findings into practical applications.
• Excellent scientific writing and communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, publications, and technical documentation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in physics and engineering of cyclotron.
• Proficient in English for technical communication.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ethical and responsible research.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct advanced research projects in cyclotron science and technology.
• Design, model, simulate, and analyze experiments and data.
• Prepare technical reports, scientific publications, and presentations for stakeholders, regulators, and conferences.
