Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Senior Business Planning Manager in the Jakarta region (Cileungsi) to lead the regional IBP and S&OP governance, ensuring optimal alignment of demand, supply, inventory, capacity and financial objectives. You will drive PLM governance, localization projects, and strategic network optimization while supporting investments and growth initiatives across the ROA region.

The role requires 10+ years in supply chain or related fields and a proven track record of leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years in Supply Chain, Business Planning, Demand/Supply Planning, Operations, or related functions.
• Experience leading S&OP/IBP in a complex, matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead IBP and S&OP process across ROA to align demand, supply, inventory, capacity and financials.
• Own regional planning governance and translate demand into executable production and procurement plans.
• Drive network optimization, localization, and PLM governance including new product introductions and portfolio optimization.
• Build planning capabilities and robust cross-functional decision-making to improve service and reduce working capital.

The role oversees Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OP governance, translating market intelligence, demand forecasts, capacity constraints, inventory positions, and customer requirements into actionable business plans.The role serves as a strategic partner to support business growth and transformation initiatives. This includes leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), product transfer and localization projects, supporting major investments and PTS program, driving inventory and materials optimization strategies, and strengthening cross-functional decision making through robust planning processes. The position plays a critical role in building planning capabilities, standardizing regional ways of working, improving planning effectiveness, and ensuring organizational readiness for growth, network changes, and market volatility.
