Your role

We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to support our EssilorLuxottica Professional Solutions business in Indonesia. The Senior Business Controller serves as the financial leader of the lens business, leading it toward growth and profitability through financial planning, analysis and reporting. The role requires aligning financial decisions with the strategic objectives of the lens business. You are going to work closely with various departments to provide insights that help shape strategies and resource allocation decisions.

Job Scope
  • Responsible for assisting the CFO and Regional Controlling Team (based in SG) in managing majority of finance and accounting activities to achieve business and financial objectives.
  • Responsible from financial planning & analysis, accounting as well as finance internal controls enhancement in the respective business segment.
  • Provides key support in business partnering, managing and improving finance processes and controls for the Indonesia market.
  • Lead and manage the country business control team to ensure all controlling activities performed diligently.
Key Activities
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, long‑term plans, and forecasts; monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive financial targets.
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, variances, and business drivers; prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to inform decision‑making.
  • Advise and partner with department heads and other stakeholders on financial matters, helping them understand performance and control costs.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and improve financial controls.
  • Build and evaluate business cases for operational improvements and investments; provide expert guidance on complex financial issues.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, manage risks, and maintain ethical financial practices.
Main requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required; a postgraduate degree is welcome with around minimum of 10 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance with preferably at least 3 years as Head of Finance.
  • CA/CMA/CPA is a plus.
  • Strong accounting background.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel technical background.
  • Demonstrates high energy.
  • Strong ability to lead, influence, drive change amongst ambiguity.
  • Goal driven and result oriented.
  • Clear and fact‑based decision making.
  • Diverse and able to work well in teams and across functions.
  • Good analytical skills and strategic thinking, with pro‑active, independent, and strong approach.
  • Problem solving skills, performing highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, provide guidance, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Experience working as a business partner to support sales & marketing team.
  • Technical skills – Accounting & Reporting tools.
