We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior BIM Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, coordination, and execution of data centre infrastructure projects across the APAC region. You will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models (BIM) using AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard tools, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and management of BIM 3D models for complex data centre installations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural, structural, and MEP designs.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings and technical documentation.
- Ensure BIM deliverables meet client specifications, quality standards, and international guidelines.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks or similar software.
- Support project managers with technical input, design coordination, and progress reporting.
- Maintain version control and documentation of BIM files throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce detailed working drawings for site teams to support installation and construction activities.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior BIM engineers and technicians.
- Represent the organization professionally, upholding core values and behaviors with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection and Information Security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in BIM engineering, preferably in data centre or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction coordination workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certified in advanced CAD/BIM tools and methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical design standards.
