Job summary

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for a high-traffic platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a cloud-native environment to deliver low-latency solutions.

The role requires strong Node.js experience and deep AWS knowledge (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation), plus hands-on API development (REST and GraphQL).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Node.js backend development.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• RESTful and GraphQL API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
• Knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
