The product integrates via APIs and features a Control Center — where users analyze knowledge quality, provide feedback, receive content recommendations, and track customer engagement performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and API layers powering the AI Control Center and client integrations.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI models and expose insights securely and efficiently.
• Design and optimize APIs for analytics, recommendations, and chatbot performance.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and robust data protection mechanisms.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-code principles.
• Drive backend architecture decisions, code quality, and best practices.
• Work in agile sprints, collaborating with frontend, product, and data teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• 4-7 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar).
• OR experience with Node.js/TypeScript and willingness to work in a Python-heavy environment.
• Solid experience designing and integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL is a bonus).
• Strong grasp of server-side architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred; MongoDB a plus).
• Familiarity with AWS (AppRunner, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency with Docker and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Git CI, etc.).
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.ten & verbal).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience integrating AI/ML pipelines and exposing model outputs via APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI or other LLM platforms (OpenAI, Bedrock).

• Knowledge of event-driven systems or message queues (SQS, Kafka, Redis Streams).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK).
• Exposure to monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, New Relic, CloudWatch).
• Interest in AI chatbots, or knowledge management automation.
