Job summary

Infinity Capital is seeking an External Auditor to join our Jakarta team. You will participate in and supervise multiple client engagements under guidance from senior staff and contribute to audit planning, tests of controls, and substantive procedures for significant accounts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 2.9, at least 3 years in external auditing, and strong knowledge of accounting standards. Travel readiness and teamwork are essential assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with minimum GPA of 2.9 or equivalent from a reputable institution.
• Has minimum 3 years working experience as an External Auditor in Registered Public Accountants with 1 year experience as a Senior auditor.
• Experience in consolidation will be an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge in financial accounting/auditing standard.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all professional levels.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline, while maintaining quality at all times.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to operate MS Office applications.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Participates in meetings with the client engagement team and the client.
• Responsible for participating in and supervising multiple client engagements and other related activities under the general direction of more experienced engagement team members.
• Understands and explains to staff the objectives of an audit, planned other services, and the staff's role in the audit process.
• Develops the Audit Approach Plan and prepares detailed audit programs for tests of controls and substantive procedures for significant accounts.
• Executes audit procedures, such as understanding and evaluating significant sources of information, testing controls, and performing substantive procedures in moderately complex, judgmental and/or specialized areas.
• Review whether financial statements figures and disclosures already in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Interacts with client personnel and demonstrates a commitment to continually improve our client's satisfaction.
